State Groups

Short Link: http://bit.ly/stateforums Agreement for We Are Woman State Groups Thank you for joining with We Are Woman March on Washington DC. We truly appreciate your energy and desire to bring people from your state to the national march this fall. To maintain continuity and minimize confusion, we ask that each state team commit to the following: 1) Maintain separate fundraising for your state. We Are Woman has national fundraising in place and it will be necessary to keep state fundraising separate from the national efforts. 2) Place links to We Are Woman’s fundraising page and website on each state’s Facebook page and website, when a website is created. Fundraising Page: http://www.wearewoman.us/p/donate.html Main Website: http://www.wearewoman.us/ 3) State groups may only use We Are Woman graphics as the main logo for each page/website. You may add the name of your state or your state image to our logo. You may say something like: We Are Woman New York.. Again, this is to maintain continuity and minimize confusion.   4) We Are Woman is not affiliated with UniteWomen.org. We supported and promoted the marches on April 28th, and applaud their efforts. However, we are two separate entities and We Are Woman is completely focused on the march on Washington DC on August 18th, 2012. 5) All state lead coordinators are requested to create an account with the We Are Woman blog forum, and keep the directors and founders up to date on schedules, fundraising efforts and other details to assist with coordination.
